The traditional written OMR entrance examination has been officially replaced by the WBSCTE. Admissions across all Government, Government-Sponsored, and Self-Financed polytechnics in West Bengal are now executed directly via Class 10 (Madhyamik) Merit Index Mapping.
🛠️ Official Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen with permanent residency factors in West Bengal.
Academic Cutoff: Passed Class 10 (Madhyamik) examination with a minimum aggregate score of 35% marks.
Compulsory Streams: Must have clean passing profiles in Mathematics, Physical Science (Science), and English branches.
Upper Age Ceiling: No upper age limit restrictions apply, but candidate's birth date must fall on or before July 1, 2011.
